The Institute of Private Enterprise Development (IPED) Head Office located at Lot 253-254 South Road, Bourda, in Georgetown provides supervised loans and Business Development Services to groups and individuals of the Micro, Small and Medium Business Sectors countrywide.

Our Head Office has Credit Officers / Business Counsellors who are supported by management/ supervisory staff and clerical staff in the Credit Section.

IPED provides timely access to capital for appropriate periods, at reasonable interest rates, which provides clients with good rates of Return on Investment. We are ideal for business persons who do not have access to the commercial banks and have been in business for at least 6 months.

The area this branch covers includes villages along the way from Georgetown to Mahaicony, Linden/Soesdyke Highway, West Bank of Demerara, upper Demerara Riverain areas.
