Entrepreneurial Development Centre

This Project will have four facets

Lectures: Using the participatory methodology participants will be exposed to subject areas including:

• Preparing a Business Plan
• Marketing
• Technology
• Financial Analysis
• Costing

Identifying Business Opportunities:

• Brainstorming
• Utilise By–Products of Agriculture
• Add Value to Agriculture Products
• Utilise Natural Resources
• Utilise Resources that are lying idle

Access to Capital: The Core Product of IPED is loans. As a result we will be able to make available Capital to the Youths who meet the prescribed criteria at the end of the exercise.

Mentorship: In order to make this intervention a successful one our methodology supports mentorship. We see it as an essential to the mix that will lead to Entrepreneurial Development.

• Identify Professionals who have a passion for volunteer work
• Develop a methodology to match the right mentor with the right trainee
• Provide the young person with access to skills and support they would otherwise have no access to.

Technology for productivity

The programme seeks to finds ways of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the methodology used and the service offered by Entrepreneurs.

• Internet Research: A facility established at the Center to allow for this type of access.
