The Institute of Private Enterprise Development (IPED) is a company registered under the Company Act, Chapter 89:01 of the Laws of Guyana, as a not-for-profit and limited by guarantee institution.

IPED provides supervised loans and Business Development Services to groups and individuals of the Micro and Small Business Sectors countrywide.

In Guyana, IPED is the leading institution in providing financial and non-financial services to the most needy sector of the economy (i.e. the underprivileged, micro and small entrepreneurs).
